 The other day, I went to the Kuzuryu River to fish with the ST85SP for the first time and to finish off the season.
 The expedition was with three fishing friends who are regulars at the Hochi Owner's Cup National Tournament.
 I had everyone try it out, and when they first held it they said, "It's so light!" and "It's light, but not unreliable; it's crisp and seems to have some power."
 That was everyone's impression.
 When I was actually fishing, it started to lightly rain, and when the raindrops hit the rod I could feel a "pichipichi" sound, and when the rain stopped and dragonflies started to fly, I could feel them every time they landed on the rod.The sensitivity was amazing.
 The ayu that we caught were already in the final stages of the season and had spawned, so they were plump and about 23 or 24 cm in size.Although they didn't have as much power as they do in the peak season, they were still very heavy and we caught a fair number of them.
 At first I was worried that it might break because it was so light, but that didn't happen at all. If I held it in place, the power of the rod allowed it to come out easily, and it wasn't too stiff so the bait got weak, which felt really good.
 Although I only used it for one day this season, I'm looking forward to using it from the beginning to the end of next season.
